Rhéal Gautreau of Moncton passed away at his residence on Monday December 1, 2008 at the age of 59.
 Born on September 11, 1949 in Pré-d'en-Haut, he was the son of the late Yvon and the late Dora Gantreau. He worked at VIA Rail for 34 years until his retirement.
He is survived by six sisters, Donalda (Daniel) Conde of Moncton, Alfreda (Roger) Dupuis of Dover, Rosanna (Bernard) Duplessis of Hampton, Thérèse (Claude Brun) Gautreau of Memramcook Lake, Hélène (Guy) Breau of Gautreau Village and Dorine (Roger) Fontaine of Dieppe; three brothers, Léon (Cheryl) Gautreau of Sackville, Bernard (Lisette) Gautreau of Gautreau Village and Ronald Gautreau of Moncton; one brother-in-law, Clarence Nowlan of Dover; two godchildren, Julien and Mario and by several nieces and nephew. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Jacqueline and Diana and by one brother, Joseph.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook.
